Go to "Extension Manager" option.
Choose the location of the zip file to install (For example: mod_fire_magazine_j25.zip) and press "Uplaod & Install"
CONFIGURATION
Go to the "Module Manager", choose "New" as option in the menu.
Choose the module type: mod_fire_magazine.
Now, you are in the configuration screen of your Fire Magazine module.
In the cover section (selected in red color) you can configurate some features:
COVER
Layout. Choose the main layout. The default layout is selected, but you can create new layouts as you need and put inside the folder "mod_fire_magazine/tmpl/".
Width. If you want, set a diferent width for the module in px or % (Example: 245px)
Background image. Set the main background image for the module. This image will be at less the same size of the module.
Background color. Set the main background color for the module. This value must be in hexadecimal format or RGB style (Example: #ffffff)
Columns. Choose the number of columns for the layout, "One" or "Two" are the options.
Logo image. Set the logo for the module. Is an image.
Link. Set the link for the logo (Example: http://www.anysite.any)
Link Target. Set the target for the link (Same or New window are the options)
CONTENT
Content's source. Choose the way of get the content to display in the module (Articles from a Category or Selected Articles)
Category. If you selected "Articles from a Category" in the "Content's source" option, you can set from wich Category you will get the Articles.
Filter Articles. If you want to show any kind of article choose "Any", if you want to show just featured articles choose "Just Featured", if you want to show any article except featured articles choose "No Featured".
Ordering type. If you selected "Articles from a Category" in the "Content's source" option, choose the order type to show the content.
Ordering. If you selected "Articles from a Category" in the "Content's source" option, choose the order to show the content, for example: "Newest first"
Articles to show. Number of teh articles to show (If you selected "Category" in the "Content's source" option)
Article's Ids. If you selected "Selected Articles" in the "Content's source" option, you must set the ids of the Articles separated by a coma (Example: 1,9,5)
IMAGES
Width. Set the width of the images.
Height. Set the height of the images.
Position. Choose the align of the images
TEXT
Number of chars. Set the number of chars to display as introduction for every article.
Read more cut. Set the value for the part when the introduction article ends (Example: ...)
CSS
Custom some CSS. You can set CSS rules that affects the design of the COVER (the layout of the module), MAIN (the first article) and NEXT (the last articles)
Save the module.
